How to Go Above and Beyond for Your Smile

June 7, 2017 by drBraithwaite

Your smile says a lot about you. In fact, some say it is what makes the first impression. If you’re like many others, you want to keep your smile in the best shape possible. This means you keep up on oral hygiene and visit your dentists regularly. But do you ever wish you could go the extra mile for your smile? If so, Dr. Braithwaite, Dr. Braithwaite, and our dental team are thrilled to help you! We would like to recommend some tips.

Tip No. 1: Brush your teeth whenever and wherever you can. If you brush after each meal and snack, no matter if you’re at work, school, or home, your teeth and gums can remain clean and strong. This can also help you avoid embarrassing moments of having a food-filled smile!

Tip No. 2: Wear a mouthguard while you participate in high-contact sports and activities. This is recommended because a hard object, like a ball, elbow, or knee, can hit your mouth and cause an injury. If you wear a mouthguard, your smile can be protected.

Tip No. 3: Don’t forget to include rinsing in your oral hygiene routine. After you brush and floss before bed, feel free to pull the mouthwash out of the bathroom cabinet and complete the cleaning job. As you rinse, follow the instructions on the bottle. It’s also best to use a product that has been approved by the American Dental Association.

Would you like to learn more about how to go above and beyond for your smile in American Fork, Utah? If so, please call Elite Dental at 801-763-7737. Our dental team will be excited to talk with you and give you the tips and information you’re looking for so you can give your smile the red-carpet treatment it deserves!
